EDIBLE HARROW WALK AND OPEN AFTERNOON – ST MARY’S CHURCH, HARROW ON THE HILL
Saturday 11 September 2021, 1.30pm to 4pm
A guided walk highlighting the contribution of Harrow people to the nation’s food! Open afternoon at St Mary’s Church – visit the 927 year old church and hear about its magnificent history.
For 2021’s Heritage Open Day Festival theme of “Edible England”, we have been exploring all the links Harrow has to our food! You will be amazed, as we talk food, recipes and culinary science!
Meet at St Mary’s Church Lych-Gate at 1.30pm for an hour’s guided walk titled Edible Harrow.
Afterwards, visit St Mary’s church and churchyard, from 2.30pm to 4pm, where we will be showcasing the wonderful heritage of our landmark borough church.
