The HHT Kids Committee evening of Bingo and Fish & Chips.
This was held in the Church Hall of St Mary's on 29th November 2013, we all gathered for a 6.30 start. A good number of games were played, there was a raffle for a giant monkeye and the evening concluded with fish & chips for all.
In total £112 was donated to Cancer Ressearch UK - well done all the kids and their parents!
Kids' Fun Quiz Night
On Friday 21st September evening over 30 of us gathered at St. Mary's Church Hall (thank you vicar!) for an evening of questions and fish & chips.
All the activities were managed by the HHT Kids Committee, the questions kept coming for over an hour and prizes were given for the winners of each age group.
Sherpa Jonathan kindly agreed to lead local children over the Hill to view the "horrible, scary, ghastly"! Over 30 people arrived on 11th June - our second biggest walk ever!!!
Harrow Hill Trust Kids Club held a "Fun Swim" at Harrow School Sports Centre on Saturday 19th March, a blissfully sunny afternoon with an hour of swimming in the pool followed by refreshments kindly donated by HHT members (especially the fairy cakes!).
There were 20 local children in the pool and the committee managed to raise about £60 for Penniwells Riding Centre which provides riding for the disabled.
Treasure Hunt & Picnic - Saturday 12th June 2010
The Kids Committee's Treasure Hunt was really well attended by local children and parents alike - raising over £30 for the Salvation Army on their first event. Well done all who organised the event and attended on the day!
The clues gave everyone a good chance to have a wander around the top of the Hill, finishing on Church Fields where the "treasure chest" was located, filled with sweets and presents for all those that participated. Then there was a chance to have a picnic on the Fields before continuing up to St. Marys for their annual summer Fete.
Our final thanks go to Solveig Wilson who oversees the Kids Committee, and who apparently organised the spectacular flypast (including the Red Arrows) - nothing to do with the Trooping of the Colour!
