With the help of a great many people – and fantastic weather – this year the Trust held its second May Day Festival. This year’s theme was the Edwardian period, a pivotal period in the Hill’s history.
With food provided by our local eateries, there was entertainment galore with Grimsdyke Brass, West Harrow Community Choir, Punch & Judy, guided walk and hill exhibition, morris dancers and a percussion workshop. Plus Edwardian or Beatrix Potter fancy dress, a Beatrix Potter character hunt, make a May Day headdress and a teddy bear competition for kids big and small.
This event couldn’t have happened without the support of many of our local businesses, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank them all for their generosity.
