A contemporary response to Harrow School's Watercolour Collection
JUXATAPOSITIONS - Dan Llywelyn Hall
19 January– 27 June
Great works from the past continue to inspire artists today. This show juxtaposes historic watercolours by artists such as Turner with new pictures by the distinguished artist Dan Llywelyn Hall, painted in direct response to selected watercolours from the School’s collection
An exhibition by the Old Speech Room Gallery Arts Society Japanese Prints
Japanese woodblock prints describe ‘the floating world’ of contemporary society: Kabuki actors, geishas, battles between samurai, festivities aboard a pleasure boat, tea picking, and the daily business and pleasure of the urban middle class.
Open to the Public – Admission Free
The Old Speech Room Gallery is open during term every day, except Wednesday and exeat days, from 2.30pm – 5.00pm. From time to time the Gallery is used by the School so please call to check availability.
