The Trust operates through an Executive Committee,
elected annually by the members, and three sub-committees - Planning,
Environmental, and Community Relations

THE EXECUTIVE
COMMITTEE

PLANNING COMMITTEE
|
|
This committee meets
monthly to discuss all planning issues
-
promotes and
supports high standards of planning and architecture
sensitive to the Hill and its community
-
monitors, assesses
and responds to planning applications and appeals affecting the Hill
-
assesses all new
development proposals for their impact on the Hill's environment and
its residents
|
|
ENVIRONMENTAL
COMMITTEE
|
|
Established to make us
ALL, individuals and organisations, aware of our responsibility to
maintain and improve the Hill's environment
-
carrying out four
annual audits of the Hill in the next year to identify problem areas:
traffic, tree planting, litter, etc.
-
addressing problems
using existing channels and contacts
-
identifying small
scale improvements for the Trust to support and promote
|

COMMUNITY
RELATIONS COMMITTEE
|
-
arranging and
publicising activities to bring the community together, and encouraging
people to enjoy the Hill's environs
-
raising funds for
the Trust's work
-
producing a
newsletter distributed via voluntary neighbourhood representatives
